About Me

My family is everything to me - husband and three grown children. Eldest son just married in April 2013. My daughter is also now engaged. I have two Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Rusty is my old fellow and we also now have Brea who is a Devil. I love craft. I am into patchwork, painting and just discovered ATC's and tags and now Zentangles. But with no sight in my left eye and limited sight in the other sometimes it can get tiring. I spend way too much time on the computer. But couldn't do without my internet friends.

Christmas Day 2012

We are all up by 8.30am.
We gathered in the lounge room and then the fun begins. David handed everyone's gifts out and we all had so much fun opening each of our presents.
I was particularly spoilt this year. Ash and Clayton gave me some beatific perfume. David gave me a stunning mother of pearl inlay box. Chris and Alicia, my favourite l'occtaine hand lotions.
Paul gave me a digital radio and a Samsung net book.

Ash and Clayton had to leave not long afterwards to go and visit with his family.

Chris made me an egg white omelette from some of the left over egg whites.

We then started getting ready for Paul's family to arrive for lunch.
We ended up with nineteen in total.
We set up two tables to eat at and a serving table in the family room.
It worked really well.

Their was masses of food - turkey, duck, pork, ham, chicken, bacon, prawns, roast potatoes, pumpkin, sweet potato, cauliflower cheese, potato bake, peas, beans, carrots and two different stuffings.

Then for desert we had Chris and Alicia's Hack Family Plum Pudding which was delicious, Ashs custard, cream, ice cream, an ice cream cake, pavlova, triffle and little decorated cup cakes.

Oh boy where we all stuffed.

After lunch Joanne let everyone know that Grandma had bought special gift envelopes for everyone for Christmas this year before she had passed away. It was a bit emotional, but oh so like her to be prepared. Joanne then handed them all out to the grandchildren and gave gift vouchers as well to everyone else.

We all then just sat around and talked and talked for the rest of the afternoon.

It was a great day
