Had to get up early to be ready to leave at 7am.

Checked in and then we all went and got breakfast in the food hall.

I would say we got better personal service on Virgin Blue than with Cathay Pacific ground staff.
I watched a lovely movie about a magical horse and a man who ends up back in time called Silver Tail. Also watched an episode of Sherlock Holmes.
Got into Hong Kong about half an hour earlier than original flight plan (much to Mr APT. Reps displeasure).
Mini bus to the Hotel Excelsior.
Room is very nice and overlooks the Harbour
